It’s been a while. For a moment we thought our journey in the music scene had come to an end. But sometimes all it takes is the right experience to spark the fire again.
After heading out to the Berg, the Drakensberg, soaking in the scenery and the electric atmosphere at the Smoking Dragon Festival, we had time to reflect on where we’ve been, what we’ve done, and what we can build next.
That’s when the spark came back.
Just before the festival, I launched a new venture: F.D.R – Fashes Designs (with the R proudly standing as a registered symbol), along with Bok for Sports, a platform dedicated to reviews, entertainment, and a bit of fun, whacky content along the way.
But let’s break it down.
So, What Is F.D.R – Fashes Designs?
Fashes Designs is first and foremost a clothing brand, built around bold, dynamic design.
But it doesn’t stop there.
F.D.R also focuses on creative digital marketing solutions, including:
• Social media design
• Web design
• Branding and visual identity
• Unique clothing and merchandise concepts
At F.D.R, the goal is simple: create designs that stand out, turn heads, and give brands personality.
And What Is Bok for Sports?
Bok for Sports is a review and entertainment platform connected to RockingSA.
We’ll be covering:
• Live bands and music events
• Food reviews
• Car shows
• Fun, entertaining content along the way
This all feeds into another revived platform called Undiscovered, which will highlight bands, food experiences, and car culture that deserve attention.
Because sometimes the best things out there are the ones people haven’t discovered yet.
The Phoenix Rises
Just like a Phoenix rising from the ashes, RockingSA is coming back to life.
The mission remains the same:
Support bands. Support venues. Grow the music scene.
And bring back the days where we had the opportunity to be media for both local and international bands, helping showcase the incredible talent South Africa has to offer.
